if it rains today it will cleanse

and energy is given back
the trees grow
the grass flows
as the birds chirp
as the babies know
that one day its time to fly
and one day its to go
why is nature in a cycle?
but the human race is at hold
never once we were whole
never once we shared
never once we actually tried
always the evil was there
never once we asked forgiveness
cause our ego stood in their way
never listened to my hands up high
always assumed and kills
